Expungement Online LLC is not a law firm and does not practice law. We help you to determine your own eligibility and we are partnered with attorneys who will help to file your petition for expungement.

What is Background Check Removal?

There are two types of background databases. The regulated/government databases* and the private databases.

How do I answer Survey if I have multiple records?

What if I have filed for expungement before?

If you have filed for expungement before, depending on the state you may not be eligible to file again. However, you should take our free eligibility questionnaire to determine if you able to file again.

Do I have to go to court?

Your expungement can be completed without attending court however there might be certain circumstances where you must attend court. The attorney that we connect you with will guide you through the steps for expungement.

What happens after my record is expunged?

Sealing an arrest completely removes a criminal arrest from public records. The record of arrest is destroyed and only accessible to certain law enforcement agencies.

It can sometimes take between 2-4 weeks for the databases to comply and remove your information.

Do you make any guarantees?

We do not guarantee that your record will be cleared or expunged. The attorney does not guarantee that your record will be cleared or expunged. It is at the discretion of the courts and a judge whether your record will be cleared and expunged.
